"Jumper" is the title of a song by the American rock band Third Eye Blind. It was released in November 1998 as the fifth and final single from their self titled album, and written by vocalist Stephan Jenkins. The song reached number 5 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart

Everyone's got to face down the demons" ... The angry boy, a bit too insane,Icing over a secret pain,You know you don't belong,You're the first to fight, You're way too loud,You're the flash of light, On a burial shroud,I know something's wrong,Well everyone I know has got a reason, To say, put the past away ..."

I feel Mr. Manson wanted to 'expose' the hypocrisy of televangelist's as well as sex in the Catholic Church (Nuns having babies, sex, vibrators, ect). At least Mr. Manson had the taste to not do the whole 'Catholic Priests having sex with little boys thing'.

You know, this song was written about suicide, and directed to a single persons decision. I want to direct this song to all the people, and politicians, and world leaders who are slaughtering people, and inflicting deep and permanent change on a whole world population. I want to take a calm moment to ask you to preserve life, and embrace love. All I can do Is ask, and try, and show you, maybe through music, how it makes us feel. Perhaps if we can help you really understand through feelings, what is really going on you will think. Maybe not, and maybe im just a fool, but I have taken the time to fight for what I believe in. That's all that matters to me ;) Spread the Love <3

I know this song is about suicide but whenever I hear this, I remember being 16/17, going to Claire's or Gadzooks and this song always being played in the background. Good times.

I honestly thought they were British since the lead has some kind of accent when he sings.
