The perfect song: The voice of Bjork, and good personal hygiene.

Check out this video on YouTube:This was my fav #Sugarcubes song, #Deus in 1988I fell in love with their album #lifestoogood I bought in 1988 after hearing #Björk for 1st time on MTV in the #coldsweat video; they had me completely mesmerized, despite not a style of #Musik I typically liked. Now so many years later, I still love this album as if no time has passed

I come away with a slightly different impression every time I listen to this song. I love the exchange between the rational mind's "He does not exist," and that nagging little doubt in the primal brain saying, "But if he does?" I still have no idea really what she is trying to say, but I guess it doesn't matter, when my own interpretation changes with every listen.

The last little inflection on exist at the end of that song is so funny.

"deus does not exist ,but if he does..." Yo digo que Bjork es más agnóstica que atea.

Amazing how such a tiny country can produce such amazing music. Something special in the ice and mineral water up there!

I was planning to go to the church today, but happily Björk made me see that I was wasting my time.
