Christ man! I've been wanting to figure this song out for over 20 years! Thanks to you, after 30 minutes of watching & listening, I find myself playing it. To think of the things I'd be doing now if YouTube had been available when I was growing up and learning how to play, geeesh. Now, you had access to a MIDI file of the song, is that how you were able to figure it out so well? I don't know why I never thought to use MIDI tracks. I disagree, I play it differently - main riff all open position at the first fret - but if you look at Marr playing it live it's actually very close to the way it's being played here. Certainly sounds accurate at any rate.

I did exactly this, but it was to learn every Metallica song. Now That I know how to play I have learned tons of J.Marr riffs too!
