This song had charted earlier at #55 for the Four Esquires in 1956 and #36 for Johnnie Ray on the Hot 100 in 1957 (#7 on the UK Singles chart). A later remake charted at #12 on the Adult Contemporary chart for Ray Conniff and His Orchestra in 1968.

Oh, this is great!! I always liked this song,and The Monarchs version put others to shame. I have this record,and mine is stamped '63..I think it came out then,and had to be rereleased in early '64 before it charted. I was in my teens,but remember it like Yesterday.
