My favorite version of this song that's been done well by many.

Just the best girl group ever to come out of Detroit, or anywhere, for that matter. So soulful. The Supremes sound so plastic by comparison, but for some reason they're the ones we get on the oldies stations.

One of the best, smoothest, most soulful sounds to ever roll out of Motown. This makes me remember cruising Van Nuys blvd. in the '70s at night, windows down, this blasting, the reverb on, and the color bar under the dash flashing. :)

I really love this song. After 51 years of marriage and a lot of bumps, and stupidity on my part I now know what forever means. Now my loving sweet wife is my Queen and Jesus is my king and that will be forever&forever.

My wife and I married at 16.That was 51 years ago this past Nov.2.Praise the Lord. And believe me we could never have made it without Him.Now after all these years I have to say JESUS is my King and my beautiful Judy is my queen.Beleive me,we would have never made it without Our Lord. And did we have some great slow dances to this great ol song by the Marvelettes.Forever means forever to us.

There was a radio show in the 90's on WGCI in Chicago. Richard Pegue's dusty record party, every Saturday night, from 9 pm to 5 am. He dedicated this song to me & my husband;& we slow danced to it in the living room of my old apartment at 2117 W. Chicago Ave; in Chicago. Sadly, both of them have passed away. I love, & miss my husband terribly. He was one in a million! So was Mr. Pegue-such a cool show! He used to dig up the best R&B oldies,& play them from about 3 am till 5.
