Calling old (er) guys n gals: I have a question. Do you think someone writing a letter in 1945 would use the expression "they so had-it-coming!" ?? That sounds to me like a recent fashion in the way young people talk. I didn't start hearing "it's so " until recently. Also, "Nice!" said sarcastically, sounds recent to me.

Rosie's 14 year old voice was sooooo pure! She was a National City (CA) girl and had been friends with my high school girl friend. Went to two dances featuring her and her band and very cool. When I went to Viet Nam in the army I took this song on a tape recorder and played it low in the tent after coming off a hell hole patrol in the jungle and it made me feel back at home and calm down. My favorite lifetime song, I just wish I'd gone up and talked to her at those two dances...
