It seems the things that used to mean the world to me don't add up to a hill of beans.

Amazing tune. Once the grunge liking generation leaves this earth, who will like grunge?

I saw TAD with Love Battery years ago. Nobody showed up.People in Florida are awful. Nonetheless, both bands waited around to a dismal outpouring of support. And then they're asked us we wanted to hear and played everything on our list. Everything. And they were enthralling.

*Classic Seatlle 90's band: Tad*TAD's namesake Tad Doyle, a 300 lb sad sack ex-butcher rather than the washboard-abbed Chris Cornell or the tuneful angst of Kurt Cobain. It don't much matter: TAD's '89 debut God's Balls, much like Mudhoney's "Touch Me I'm Sick", is the sound of the Sub-Pop Records scene before the world found gold in the grunge. Sad to say, no matter how many journalists called these musical miscreants the "Sound of Seattle," the Alternative Nation still wanted something safer.
