Fun fact! Tad toured Europe in the late 80s, made the front cover of English music mags...and the unknown Nirvana opened for them. Then it all changed...

Great thing about grunge was the diversity. "Grunge" wasn't the punk inspired songs of Nirvana, but also the metal sound of AIC, the heavy aggression of Tad, the more experimental sound Soundgarden developed at times, and all the other unique sounds of each band. It was great!

well, I'm nearly 22 and I still get shocked with the wealth of grunge music... I'm a huge fan of a genre due to all those famous bands like Alice in Chains, Nirvana, etc. but still, I kept on looking for something new - and it was more likely to find something nice it in the same genre. And yet - I'm not disappointed! I discovered Love Battery, Thread and now finally TAD - really awesome music, kicking asses so hard! Greetings from Poland, where grunge is - unfortunately - still so unknown.
