This was from one of the best albums of 1979 (wow, has it been 30 years?!) and this was my favorite song. The first time I heard it was on a rainy afternoon just back from the record store. I rocked along to "14th Street Beat", "Emily", etc, and "Without You" closed out Side 1. To this day this song, more than the others, reminds me of high school. The line "yesterday is long and gone" was about 8th grade. lol.
