Recently received a ton of NYC band live-recordings and heard a version of this by the New York Dolls, maybe 1976. The Dolls' set featured a lot of the songs that appeared on the first two David Johansen solo albums. I'm relieved to hear this version. It was one of the best songs in the Dolls' set, and I couldn't believe I hadn't heard it anywhere else. Great song.12 years ago
