This has a bar at closing time vibe to it. A woman singing one last sing as the bartender is starting closing up shop and everyone is going home. Yet there's one guy at the bar whose been drinking all night and still staring it his half-empty beer. And she's singing this song to him. She loves him and wants to save him. She wants to be his mirror. But he's too far gone and can't be saved. Still, she sings for him.

this is NOT from a Susannah Hoffs album called Rainy Day. it is from a Rainy Day album called Rainy Day. Ms. Hoffs is in the band and does sing lead on 2 songs ion the album.it is kinda a Dave Robeck (Rain Parade, Opal and Mazzy Star) album more than anything else.
