Thanks.Yours comes up in a search for Rainy Day too,but one's likely to find the other version 1st,the one sounding slightly slow(flat)&has a bit of wow-&-flutter effect of a lousy turntable distorting Susanna's fine voice!Yours is bestThe whole alb LP's great,imo,but hey,they should have let just "the girls" sing: Susanna & Kendra,as they're the best singers.I love Susanna's cover of VU's "I'll Be Your Mirror" too.I'd forgotten how appealing her voice is to my ears until hearing Rainy Day!

This recording sounds better than the one someone else uploaded to YT later under the name "Rainy Day". I wish I'd found this one earlier before I put together a file of all 9 songs from the album, uploaded it & shared it with a bunch of people. I wish your video title had "Rainy Day" in it (you could still have added Sussana Hoffs in brackets), 'cause people looking for songs from Rainy Day are likely to miss it first time around, as I did, & get stuck with an inferior recording!

Aw, this is the Paisley Underground at their best. Google Paisly Underground to get the scoop on it all. I bought this album on vinyl back in 1984 and it's still one of my all time favorites.

@A1MaxJones It probably would be best if you looked up information on it online, as the story behind it has been told in more detail than I could go into here. It's a supergroup kind of compilation album consisting of then contemporary versions of '60's songs. That's just a very brief summary.
