In the 1980's, Guitarist/Singer/Songwriter Bruce Connole was the celebrated frontman of New Wave sensation The Jetzons, but soon went down a treacherous path of drug addiction. A decade later, he began to wrangle his demons through the exceptional medium of Outlaw Country and formed the Suicide Kings. The band eventually signed with John Prine's Blue Plate label and went on to Nashville. But before inking the deal, they recorded a batch of tracks in the harsh desert of Arizona, which have never before been released. Dark honky-tonk tales of hookers, booze and poor decisions are prominent on this album as it hearkens back to the 1960's Outlaw Country movement, with a disturbing Tarantino tinge.
