Are you confusing several artists? Steve did release "Liver" and performed his songs with a punkier, almost angry, sound in the 90s. However I do not believe he lost a daughter. He and his wife D.L. do have a daughter, Sarah who is alive and well. Now Steven Curtis Chapman lost a daughter in 2008 in a horrible driveway accident. Steve lost a good friend in Rich Mullins in 1997. (See Rich Mullins wearing Steve Taylor's coat in his The Color Green video, because Rich failed to pack warm clothes.)

I always thought of Steve Taylor as one of the original alternative artists really. Thanks Steven for his honesty on this one. I met bosses like this and didn't like them....
