Maybe the arrangement drags a little in the middle but one of Steeleye's best with the brilliant Maddy Prior as clear and beautiful as plate glass. Fab harmonies at end. Love it.

im from Tipperary the place they mention in this song! and by all of my spirit and soul i feel every bit of this song as if it were my funeral song! This is the steeleye span I watched so many times, a lot of them at the old Cambrifge festival - small then and I as I prefer to remember Cherry Hinton. The best times were when Martin Carthy was the leading light for me. He understands the genre and produces a wonderrful and genuinely heartfelt rendering of the music every time I see him.
