His son became an astronaut. He cried candy corn tears he wore as a necklace. His son came back from space to wear them.

I remember when I first accidentally discovered this hidden song on the cd when I was younger. I was still just getting into rock/alternative music.... what an unexpected trip. Still one of my favorites to this day.

This is one of my favorite albums. I purchased this in 1995 shortly before leaving home and joining the Navy, this song in particular played through my mind when I was in boot camp.

This entire album is incredible. There's not a bad track on the thing. Perfect to listen to when you're feeling a little down. By the time you reach this track, Sponge has taken you to the deepest depths of your inner sadness, but when you hear this, everything feels ok again. To me, it's kind of like Sponge saying, "Do you really want to be that sad? Now run out and be happy!"

This song has such a great sound, it is hard to understand why they would hide it.

This album really didn't get enough recognition as it is very genuine. So much of it has a unique, melancholy feel to it and one can really tell the guys in the band have had their fair share of hard times. The album never ceases to make me reflect, maybe to an unhealthy degree. Nevertheless its powerful stuff and I don't think it should be easily dismissed as 90's copy cat alternative rock.

Probably my favorite song on the album (picked up the album after seeing them open for Live on their "Throwing Copper" tour in '94)...and until very recently, I had no idea what the words to the song were...just thoroughly enjoyed the melody/song structure.
