Saw SoD many times and still the songs sound great to this day, songs are not written like this anymore, Kirk Brandon is a cult hero, what a dude, me and me mate had the blond flat tops, jean jackets, turn up jeans and brogues and thrashed at the front. LoS was the best tune he wrote for me, but the Outlands album is immense, still in my van today Happy Days the middle eighties.

have you got the bit, might have been from another tube show, their 1st i think, when Jools stands next to Kirk by the stage and says 'so, you describe yourselves as the greatest rock band around, is that right?' and Kirk quietly and cooly replies 'yes, thats right' then jumps onto the stage and the guitars and drums start,........ brilliant! :-)
