fair enough but they did have a song called Arya did they not? btw they were one of my fav bands of the 80's saw them a dozen times back then still have their LP's & CD's I agree that the NME were a shower of GITS...I read SOUNDS instead.

I definitely remember that furore, and the later one over a band called "Birdland." It did all actually stop me from properly investigating these guys, because being in my early twenties, I assumed that the music press wouldn't confidently be printing such stuff unless it were true. The issue was in my mind today when I thought that I'd idly check them out 30 years later on yt, so imagine my surprise to see this...

Its also worth recalling the politically correct moronic music press, led by the astonishingly arrogant NME, tried to dismiss this band as racist and fascist due to the band name's links with the Nazi party (Hitler obsessed about the Spear of Destiny and tried to find it). I think the presence of Lascelles proves how bitter and twisted the music scribes of the 80s were.
