Thank you for posting all the great Sonny videos! But please consider focusing on the music or the interview at a time - I find it very difficult to listen to both at the same time. Thanks!

Very inspiring to all artists out here, but the background sax is much too loud.

It must be now around 45 years ago when I saw the Sonny Rollins "On the Bridge" programme.....right in the middle of all the hippie stuff...he seriously turned me onto jazz...yes to get into that zone...a true master and genius musician...never a boring "cliche" solo.

I love this! I see it as... You build a playground from sound music basics, add a saxophone (or, other instrument), and then let your subconscious come in and play on the equipment. Rewarding improvisation is born. :-)I have always loved Sonny Rollins's music, and deep thoughts on Yoga. I have been practicing Yoga & Zen meditation for 35 years... I can relate to everything he says. Sonny is a great man of music, for sure!!
