I met Mr. Brent Harding back in 06 at a re-sale shop in K.C. I was at the VA Hosp in 06 being treated for numerous things after my deployment to Iraq. I saw Social D perform live in Honolulu in 2001 or 2002. One of the highlights of my life. What Mike Ness and the rest of the guys put out has helped me thru so much in my life. Everyone who's saying these guys "aren't punk"...obviously, you don't really know their entire catalog and/or history about Social Distortion. Just because they aren't repetitive Bad Religion type of punk (still like you, BR) doesn't make them any less punk. They've obviously matured up since they've formed.Yeah, I actually prefer their material up to the 2000s (Sex, Love and Rock &Roll was honestly my least favorite album), but this one is kinda back-to-basic, sobering and definitely lives up to not just punk itself, but for who the band is.Just sayyinn..9 years ago
