@bonnertom032 Shadows Fall's first two albums were Melo-Death for sure. but Lamb of God is Metalcore/ Groove Metal. Pure metal bands. No.

@CrownLazerz Shad's musical style is more closely related to thrash metal and (more so with Somber Eyes to the Sky and Of One Blood) melodic death metal. And Lamb of God? I mean, c'mon! Of course there is melody there, Mark Morton and Willie Adler are excellent guitarists, but LoG is really just a pure modern heavy metal band. No metalcore influence whatsoever. None.

@CrownLazerz Killswtich, maybe. It is completely probable to say that Killswtich Engage was one of the first mainstream metalcore bands. But as for Lamb of God and Shad, NO. Those two are not metalcore bands. They are strictly heavy metal bands. I could see how someone might construe Shad as a metalcore band, Brian Fair has a nice brutal scream, sometimes complimented by the actual singing of Matt Bachand.
