damn, the memories are coming back so quickly. I havent thought much about my past when I was in high school, I remember more of my college days. Maybe because I didnt like my high school years? We moved to a smaller town before my freshman year in high school, I hated it. My dad bought me a huge 4x4 truck to make up for it but it didnt matter, I was bored out of my mind. There certainly wasnt a shortage of women that wanted to have regrets in the morning and there was plenty of desert for my dirtbikes. This song reminds me of that time of my life, summer breeze, no shirt on, cruising the main street, windows down, music cranked up. I would cruise till women would follow us, we would pull over, get some beer then go to the outskirts of town were no one could hear us get wild. I guess the 80s werent too bad, Miami vice was definitely a different show for its time.

one of the best days of my life when I heard this masterpiece in Miami Vice, it was some kind of magic charm, I was watching that fragment again and again (20 times maybe), since that day I've been huge fan of Russ Ballard and AOR music

This hit by Russ Ballard was heard on the Miami Vice episode, "Calderone's Return: Part 1-The Hit List," which aired on October 19, 1984. One of my all time favorite shows, MV was the first show to combine MTV with police action drama.

More Russ Ballard, woo hoo! He really is such an underrated musician and songwriter. It's ironic, (and would almost be funny if it weren't so sad) that the majority of wicked cool songs from the 70's and 80's was written and many of them performed by Ballard himself. He really is a musical genius. Don't hurt that he's a decent bloke, too.

Um hate to tell you but Ace Frehley wrote this song and this guy covered it. Ace's band does a much better job too.
