Yup! I love them both....great bass players and they have that "one song, that ONLY they can do". I hope it's true and he tours with the reformed ORIGINAL band members as well ! It would be a real treat to see them. I just saw the ticket prices, so I'm hoping for a MIRACLE or a LOTTERY , LOL!

That's amazing, because I really liked The Partridge Family when I was a kid and David Cassidy , IMHO, had a great voice. This is my Favorite of all Eagles songs! I hear Randy may be in the HISTORY tour (didn't Michael Jackson use that title already?) with the rest of the band and Donny! It would be really awesome to see them one last time ...before we both croak LOL. Thanks for the info! Cheers!

Was'nt bad that..prefer the Eagles orchestrated version if i'm to be honest...RM got a rough ride from the usual suspects Frey and Henley..the eagles boot boys and Felder would get much the same a few years later...even though Meisner was gone the last great Eagles album was 'Hotel California'...My favourite Eagles album?...100% 'Desperado'...Feckin' amazing x

I think this is the first song I heard from The Eagles. I knew I loved the voice and the lyrics, both so sensitive. I didn't distinguish between the singers or their distinctive sounds back then. I now know I liked Randy's voice and lyrics best and his harmonies made the early sound. He was a great loss and it is a shame he did not get the solo success he deserved.
