It's taken me 40 years to find this song. Anne Nightingale played it on my way to Torquay all those 40 years ago and have love it ever since. Now 70 just finding out how great youtube is for music of the past. I am a big Eagles fan so was surprised to see Tim in Poco line up. I always thought the band were Pogo so never been able to find it until now. Should have been a massive hit in those days if just played more. A big thank you to Anne Nightingale for bringing this tune to me. happy listening. Robin.

Outstanding! Music has evolved? Not so sure about that, maybe I'm showing my 63 years. As I try to give current pop music a chance, it doesn't stand up to this.

What we hear on this is actually the studio recording of the song, but it matches up well with the concert video we see. A great song from a band who had a bunch of them.

If you are as enamored with Timothy B. Schmit's voice as I am, take a listen to "Love Will Keep Us Alive" from the Eagle's Hell Freezes Over CD. That's Tim singing lead vocals on the song! Just another shining example of what a great instrument (i.e. his voice) he possesses! Agree with a previous comment here that Timothy B. Schmit is HIGHLY under rated. Then again, maybe he likes it that way. He seems very unassuming...and happy. Long may you live Tim. Your voice brings joy to my soul:)

First time i heard this song i envisioned a dusty old-west street with a band of musicians playing at a Cantina...and it has been one of the most enduringly-beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard. From the very beginning to the last sound of the synth/strings, man, I couldn't love this any more deeply

Man, what a great song. I was 11 in 1976, and thought I knew most of the songs of the 70's, but I totally missed this one. Excellent blend of folk and rock. I agree with Sieg Braun, Timothy's falsetto really knocks it out of the park!
