August Burns Red are good but hardly unique, yeah when they were first out maybe but too many people copied them and a few other bands, The Agonist would be considered more unique in metal in general because their vocalist is female and isn't used as a marketing tool like many bands such as Nightwish or Evanescence, plus she's actually a good vocalist and is much better than many of the male equivalent in other bands, if you're talking about their Christian lyrical themes their not the only ones to do that either, For Today is an example, they've added more clean vocals into it which I don't like from them, The Breaker was am awesome album and they've done another before that which kicks ass too, there isn't actually many unique bands in metal because everyone draws inspiration from things that people already have done in the past so it's hard to find unique sounding bands.
