This was one of the songs he sent to Skynyrd to cover...sadly, they never got it before the tragic plane crash.

Its got numbers on the side and a gun and it's making big waves. Sounds threatening. I wonder how a rifle in your hand can feel reassuring. lol

When I was 15 Cleveland had the World Series of Rock at the Browns stadium. On a sunny Saturday in August, 1977? 18 hours-Neil Young, Led Zepplin, Aerosmith and Pink Floyd along with some smaller bands. 90,000 hot, sweaty, drunk and high rockers. I went home in the afternoon for a nap and went back at dusk. WOW damn!

Just sit back and read his autobiography - that's exactly what it feels like - Neil sitting there in a rocking chair, talking about his life - such a great songwriter, musician, writer, father, husband - he makes you feel like you're a part of his life - such a good read. So much wonderful music he's given us and continues to give us.

I have always wanted to chill out for an afternoon and just hang out with Neil, throw back a few beers and talk about a few things. Neil is one of my all time favorite artist. It's so damn timeless. the Godfather of Grunge. The voices in my head go deafly silent after a few sets of Neil Young and Crazy Horse. Love his music.
