Thank you so much for sharing this!!! My mom had a tape with the Riverdance show on it when I was younger, and this was probably my favorite song on it. It has so much emotion and feeling. It makes me cry every time I listen to it.

Absolutely NO disrespect intended to my beloved Scottish brethren ( if anyone needed even the slightest evidence ) of the movie scene in "Breaveheart" when the Irish draftees defect to Wallace's side against the English King "Long Shanks," Edward III.I had the enormous privilege of attending, in my home town, Dublin, Ireland, one of the earliest performances of Riverdance; Really!!! It was at the Point Depot in Downtown Dublin, by the North Point Docks . Where The North Point used to be. ( Anybody?? ) Which left me with a multitude of tumultuous feelings which still fill me, even now, with the sweetest memories from my childhood; from when we kids went hunting Blackberrys near where we lived, to learning how to swim by being tossed into the Canal near our home. Friends, eh?! How Beautiful. How pure.The Song of the Linnet in the morning, the cry of the Snipe in the early evening, the startling volume of the cry of the Wren at any time.
