Sheet music now available... Not a lot of time lately, so just to put *something* up, here's a work in progress...

An arrangement for two pianos of "The Mad Man with a Box" - as composed by Murray Gold and orchestrated by Ben Foster. This is mainly based on the version played at the Proms 2010.

Starting out so beautifully simple that two pianos are almost too much, one of the pianists will wish he/she had 3 hands before the piece is over. That's part of what makes it "work in progress", along with a lack of balance between voices - the voice leading is already botched a bit, just to make it *playable* for two pianos.

The music in its full orchestral glory, as performed by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, is available on the Series 5 soundtrack, released by Silva Screen Records on CD and for digital download:
