Because every day should have at least one "Mott The Hoople (of course with Ian Hunter)" moment, Esmerelda the 1 TB external Hard Drive, formerly Esmerelda the Electric Eel, is ready for her new journey to Scotland. This has been a FOUR YEAR project. Roll away sweet Esmerelda...

I remember going to watch Mott in a local community hall in a place called Kempston near Bedford around 1969, I was about 15 at the time and they were the loudest band I've ever heard and absolutely brilliant and at one point I remember Ian Hunter who was playing keyboards got an electric shock off the mic stand let me tell you the air was blue but a true hero cause the show went on, I am now 61 and still listen to my only surviving album, its the one with the crocodiles coming to life out of a picture and walking anti clockwise over a book the album is just called Mott the hoople, if you have not listened to it give a try and see how much there music changed when they went commercial

Anyone remember the book by Ian Hunter, about life on the road - name's on the tip of me tongue! - I remember buying it as an adolescent, from a newsagent's in Longsight just past where Slade lane meets Stockport road (ah memories), but I digress. Any way it impressed me at the time (as did Bob Dylan's 'Tarantula', ah youth!, ah soul!!) :-)
