I did not care for the glam scene, but the bands were great.

Why yes, I woke up at 4:30 a.m. this morning. For no apparent reason. So if I end up wearing a wig, a neckerchief and large, dark sunglasses while I am photographing the event tonight for Preston Pharaoh, I honestly am not attempting Ian Hunter cosplay hiding the mess I will look like. OK, that's a lie...

I'm only 17 years old, i would love to go back to this period in time, i've always been fascinated with the 70's, and everything about that time, if only.

Ace Frehley took his whole "spacey" schtick from Ariel Bender... moves like him, same kinda costume, plays a Les Paul, same hairdo, etc.

Spade: derogatory term for blacks. Reference is to a deck of cards: spades are black. There was a variant: black as the ace of spades. Spade is rarely heard anymore, along with other racist terms such as kike, wop and chink, it has faded away. At the time of this song it was a hipster term as well.
