Rising from the ashes of Mott The Hoople came Mott. Nigel Benjamin replaced Ian Hunter on lead vocals. Mott released two albums, DRIVE ON which this is from and SHOUTING AND POINTING before they would undergo another change of lead vocalist and morph into British Lions. The singer of that group was John Fiddler, previously of Medicine Head.

I love MOTT.I bought this album when it first came out,i didn't know what it was going to sound like,i just had this feeling it was going to be really good so i bought "drive on" and a UFO album.When i came home i played Drive On,that album blew me away.I played it over and over again,it is still one of my favorites.I'm trying to find it on cd .
