Interesting yeah MxPx would always refer to themselves as just Christians in a band anyways I'm not too comfortable talking about religion this just seemed kinda heavy to be found in a Christian book store though yeah I'm sure there are generally heavy Christian bands.

These guys are not a Christian band, though Peter and his bros. are in fact Christians, their brother in law, Dean is not. I heard Pete say in an interview that they don't mind being called that but that is not what they are about - their philosophy is more in alignment with earth based religions and taking care of the earth, the song "Jars" is a perfect example of that.

Their first album was released by Squint Entertainment, a sub-label of Word records. Squint distributes their albums to Christian bookstores. By the way, sorry for the late reply.

This band is Christian? I wouldn't think they'd sell this I mean I can understand MxPx for sure. I bought a Stavesacre cd for three dollars at a FYE used. Anyhow I love this album though I'm not a big Chevelle fan.
