Chevelle, the band themselves, said in an interview that TOOL was a huge influence and to go ahead and call them a tool knockoff..so who gives a flying shitt!! I FUCKING LOVE CHEVELLE, regardless. It is what it is.....and it is badasss. just sayin!

This song sounds a lot like the old Tool songs (Undertow and whatnot). His voice actually sounds a bit like Maynard's in this song.
