Not from CD plus, the best way to support the artist is to buy the music directly from the artist. I download most of my stuff, but at concerts I'm buying the stuff directly from the bands. Artists usually only get about 5 cents every CD that is sold from a shop, so if their record isn't selling too well they tour, or take up a second job.
