Charted at #82 on Billboard Hot 100 in February 1963. This was the only other Billboard charting single for Marcie, who hit it big with "Bobby's Girl" in 1962. Written by Henry Hoffman and Gary Klein. B-side is "How Can I Tell Him?".

How on earth did this chart in 1963?!? That line about parking is vulgar even for today's standards

I adore this unknown gem...but after one listen...it's obvious to anyone why this wasn't a hit! SCANDAL!!! FIVE STARS!!! "But I love him so...how can I say no?" She didn't and that's why the piano solo comes in...no pun intended! :)

I have been a Marcie Blane fan for 30 years! I first discovered her when I was at a friends house ,and we were playing his mama's old 45's, and came across "Bobby's Girl". Several years later I found a Marcie Blane 45 called " Bobby Did" at a flea market. Marcie had many other great singles that never made the Top 100. I have a CD of Marcie's Seville releases. Radio did not give her a fair shot at airplay! She should have had more hits.

I can't believe I even searched Marcie Blaine, but I heard this song, I think for the 1st time and can't get it out of my head. Great pop melody and the words are just perfect and funny for the early sixties.

I really like the piano at 1:36- it's one of the greatest moments in recorded music and never fails to cheer you up!

I love this song...and especially that slightly off key piano solo at 1:38....the German version is good, too! Love it!
