The problem is people have tried to turn Jesus into a "religion". God is not a religion. That has turned many people away. Sorry that happened to you. We should show the love of Jesus and His grace. Not legalism and judgement. Jesus loves us the way we are and asks us to accept Him. Satan uses religion to distance people from Jesus, His truth and who He is. That hurts many people and we have allowed it to happen by not following the Word of God. Sorry!
