To Autumn Mist and others I was, before retiring, a writer and scratched out a living adhering to one notion:: What you write must be easy to understand & appreciate. We get hung up on being profound. The loss of simplicity is evident in our churches. These preachers/lay speakers can take a verse of scripture and twist it into confusion. God's word is simple and easy to understand. Living it -.I admit is a bit more difficult. But getting to heaven is worth the struggle. Mahalia saw that.
