I disagree, I believe Evolution is the determining factor of human progress; you could argue that the "one" that dictates Evolution's place in general is the Actual determining factor, but that being said...Death and destruction are biproducts of evolution, or devolution, depending how you see it...and yea I know u wrote that a year ago, but (shrug)
