Lovely song, to bad it´s so short. The ending is the best part.

I found the footage, and decided I thought it would be great to use. I then chose the music out of my iTunes library based purely on songs that coincided in length. This song out of the few that matched up, I felt, was the best option. It also matches scene transitions, and basically was made for this footage.

I like the concept of this fan music video, I am currently uploading my own version of it and wanted to look at how others have interpreted it, I like your version very much, did you have any specific message or feelings you wanted to portray or did you just feel that these shots worked better?

I see a soldier looking up from a dirty trench while artillery shells explode in the distant being the only sound in the eerie silence of the desolate battle field barren of color and life, skeletons of city buildings crumble, never hoping to have survived in the first place. Dark storm clouds roll in, uncaring and unaffected by the lamentations of human kind, a testament to the insignificance of men and their motives.

To Simon: Two people in an art gallery looking at a canvas covered in white plaster. One said to the other, "Well, I could have done that." And the other replied, "Yeah, but you didn't." Whoever posted this created a short video based on what they felt this part of the song represented. You have every right to critique, but don't be the one saying "I could have done better". As far as we know, you didn't. If you did, then hurray for you.

When I hear this song i think of a boy sitting on a meadow outside of the city, alone by himself, sad because he's so lonely and afterwards seing these fireworks from the inhabitants of the city, meaning that there's hope for him. That's my opinion on this song, but the one that's coming after it.. is way furious!

I don't understand what you're talking about. I chose the footage because of the perfect scene transitions corresponding with the music. you could totally be right about how Before the Dawn Heals Us is all about landscapes, but for now, I'm going to stick with that I chose "landscapes" purely because I think it looks good.

Song's definitly great but if you know the album and how it continues, wrong landscape, bro.
