I love the picture montage that you (or whoever) did for this in here, so it makes me feel bad to counter it but I cannot read it any differently than that it is an confession of love and an entreaty to enter into romance, a secret one. I read it as people that have been friends but now, at least one has developed must stronger feelings. Whether it's adulterous or not is not clear, but the strong secrecy would point to it. Maybe it's just social pressure dictating they shouldn't be together.
