Not hard to watch and listen to Kathy. She was a vulnerable beauty and in my opinion the very best female singer of her time although Susan Maughan came close. Kathy had that same innocent look of Marilyn Monroe.

Anyone wanting to find out more about Kathy's life, warts and all, I can highly recommend the recently published biography 'No Secrets Anymore, The Real Kathy Kirkby' by Mark Willerton who was a personal friend of Kathy's right through to the end.

Kathy looks great in these photo's along with the boys. Starting at 0:17 Could the bar tender be Nigel Lythgoe, then Freddie Garrity of the Dreamers at 1:27. Then a neat looking Cliff Richards at 1:28 to finish with Adam Faith at 1:40. They were great days. But Robert don't underestimate the talent of Lady GaGa. Looking down the list of Avatar's was nice to be reminded of reading Mad Magazine, back in the late 50's
