PC Guy sez: "My, this is certainly a... departure for this band." Keep It Real Guy sez: "Tunes like this suspend my disbelief to the breaking point---kinda like Wham! trying to come across as The Sex Pistols!"

I find it amusing that there are people here having a dig at the poppies and EMF.. Really?? Why??? JJ done this, a couple of tunes on doubt were OK but most were dreadful. That was IT. At least EMF had a member die and a colossal album. Can you dig it - well that was bigger and more poignant than anything JJ done. And Clint Mansel has been an element in music since then. I had the pleasure of seeing all 3 bands live in various London clubs. JJ was average at best, hence the swift demise

Saw them at the Town and country club in 91 - great band, shame they fizzled out. I remember the support act was 2 girls called Soho, they had a hit called Hippychick... anyone remember them!!?? so long ago - half a lifetime in my case!!!

My father used to say to me this kind of stuff wasn't music but as I've gotten older hes realized that this kind of music was actually really good compared to whats being played nowadays. He actually picked up the Jesus Jones Doubt album at an old cd store after i sent this link to him. go figure right lol

The moment you pulled out your EMF tape and realized the hottest jams from your highschool era were now 3 decades old. There, there, it happened to me too!
