On this day in 1965 {May 8th} Jerry Wallace performed "In The Misty Moonlight" on the syndicated television program 'Hollywood A G-Go' One year earlier on July 25th, 1964 it entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart; eventually it peaked at #19 & spent 11 weeks on the Top 100 It reached #35 on the Canadian RPM Singles chart In 1968 Dean Martin covered it; his version peaked #1 {for 2 weeks} on Billboard's Adult Contemporary Singles chart Jerry Wallace passed away on May 5th, 2008 at the age of 79

My Grandma Carolyn and Grandpa Wayne fell in love with this song. They have this 45 record to. My Grandma passed away April 1st, 2011. When I hear this song, I cry and think of the memories and the things we used to do. :,-(

You're 100% correct in your statement. I have bought over 200 new CD's in the last 2 years, many of them because of a posting like yours on You Tube. I stopped listening to the radio over 10 years ago, because I thought I had everything I wanted with my then 1600 CD's (I was wrong). I now own over 1900 as of a month ago. I find new and old music because of the internet, it's very easy and rewarding. Of the 2 stores that I order from, some staff know me by voice. Once again Thanks... ;- )
