Always have liked the song, but the photo montage adds something special. Nice work.

I always associated this song with some early 70's TV show about a cop and his family, but until now I didn't remember the name of it. Thanks to Wikipedia, it was "The Smith Family" staring Henry Fonda and Janet Blair. A cover of this was used as the opening theme. Fonda was 65 when the first episode aired in January of 1971, but looked much younger.

Jerry Wallace passed away on this date {May 5th} in 2008 at the age of 79... Between 1965 and 1980 he had thirty four records to make Billboard's Hot Country Singles chart; with "If You Leave Me Tonight I'll Cry" being his biggest hit, it peaked at #1 {for two non-consecutive weeks} on August 26th, 1972... And on Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart he had thirteen career records and in 1959 "Primrose Lane" made the Top 10 at #8 and spent 21 weeks on the Top 100... May he R.I.P.

It still boggles my mind that a Wallace can sing. I apparently got short changed on the family tree. That or they said "singing"...I thought they said "looks" and got in the wrong line! (insert giggles here) I can't carry a tune in a jug.
