Just listen to the music and enjoy.

Jeremy Spencer, one of the greatest blues guitarists to ever take the stage with members of the Children of God.

"Can You Hear The Song" off his second solo album, Jeremy Spencer and the Children 1972

I've just recently discovered this album. I've always stayed away from Spencer's post Mac work because I thought he was just a one dimensional, 50's Revivalist. This stuff is incredibly musical..Love it,my favorite 'new' artist! I read that the master tapes to this album were lost in afire in the 1970's which is why it never came out on CD. Shame,as this album is seriously unique..Still got it on vinyl-my favorite medium anyway!

I like Jeremy's way of playing. I have been present at many of the times when he has been "on stage", he's whole heart-ed and gives when he plays. He is also an good illustrator and has drawn many beautiful drawings. He is truly an gifted man. Keep on going Jeremy. Zach Lightman.

Danny Kirwan is playing the lead guitar over the later vocals- forget the christian crap- a once great band was folding. If you think Stevie Nicks the coke whore- as anything over the original Mac- you are musically challenged

liverpoolfc65123 don't loose your bearings. Even though I prefer the raw blues performence of the early F M, Steve Nicks is fantastic, her looks and performence. She's one of the great Rock Ladies, with Fleetwood, her own band and with her Tom Petty engagements.

The Children of God/The Family International has been accused of sexual abuse of children by enemies who hated them because they really exposed the hypocrisy of church christianity and the capitalist system. Many places worldwide of the Family were raided by police on a worldwide scale and investigated, but no proof of these false accusations were found. Remember that Jesus was called a demon possessed bastard by his enemies, etc.

This album definitely has its moments, but it sounds like the band is playing in a different room from where the microphones were. And the vibe of it is creepy and unsettling.
