Other than festivals or possibly as a supporting act HP was never an arena draw in the US. Theaters was as big as they got, including of course the Fillmore's, the Capitol in Passaic NJ, etc. A kick ass band.

@ wildnites558 - I always understood the Pie were MUCH bigger in the States than the UK - they never became an arena band here, just theatres and city halls, whereas in the States they regularly played to 20 or 30,000, and travelled in a Lear Jet ! Also @ HumblePie76, Jerry Shirley was the drummer mate ! I strongly urge everyone to buy his book "The Best Seat In The House" about his days in Humble Pie and beyond. I think the bass is Greg Ridley, but MIGHT be Boz Burrell.
