Charted at #11 on the UK Singles chart in February 1954. This was released during a period in Guy's career where his singles were charting very well in the U.K., but often not charting at all in the U.S. He would make a return to the U.S. charts in a big way in 1956 with hits such as "Singing the Blues". This single was released in October 1953 in the US but didn't chart there.

Original Billboard review: "An attractive side. Tune is an old public doman melody with a modern lyric. The arrangement has a gang sing effect, making use of a children's chorus for this purpose. Guy Mitchell warbles with spirit here." Billboard rating: 78 out of 100.

Written by P. Campbell.

The other side of this single in the US was "Strollin' Blues".

When these songs were made and recorded they were beatiful songs when you listen to the chord structure of the song there were about 4 chords to make up the song in the scale and they would be C, G, D, F Major and when Guy Mitchell sang the the song you listen and tell every single word that he sang, I have been a music teacher now for the past 30 years and I also have been playing the giant pipe organs now for more than 60 years but these day you just cannot tell what the singer is singing.
