i got backstage in edmonton --and the profound pleasure of telling gord "what a pleasure it is to hear acoustic music" -he liked that and just grinned -got a handshake and autograph i hadnt asked for --and a memory clearer than this video [ps im a progressive rock nut who also treasures a donovan autograph and clear memories of colin linden fronting "the band" feat rick danko and garth hudson]

@yamahonkawazuki , Who can understand the things that some humans do? , what you said about the drunk, I agree was very disrespectful, poor Gordon, my heart goes out to him, and I wish I could take away his pain which clearly does show on his face.. I so hope he gets on well with his children now, he is such a rare talent, that I know this son of Canada, a great country, can be justly proud of !!!

@HilaryMG Mr lightfoot was in pain at teh knoxville concert. something with his lungs. making the same faces i do whe it hits. but he was going into details about this song DEEP. while a drunk guy 3 rows back from him was being quite disrespectful, and asking for sundown?", but this song to me sounds like a father whos wife saying " we need sometime to sort things out" and took the kids to france for 2 years. BUT she was from stockholm. why france?
