Maybe you don't like that the feel of the sound is noticably 80s, but I think those songs rank among his best work. I got hooked into it from Without You and then Salute. And before I knew it, I could just listen to the whole album all the way through.

attaremad, I have commented on your Gord Songs before, but I have to THANKYOU again for your great work on these Gord songs/videos. The song "Salute" is from the same named album from 1983. It is just after Gord kicked alcohol and he is noticeably thinner. He had lost his fuller frame (from bad diet and too much booze). The album cover was actually shot at Massey Hall in Toronto. Not his best album but he did make some better albums after this.
