Oh thank you ! (Blushes) I live in Toronto Canada, and Gordon Lightfoot was born in a small town about 90 miles north of me. He is my BIGGEST musical influence, and George Jones is my other. I also LOVE good "old country". About seven years ago, my dream came true and I actually met Mr. Lightfoot in person. He needed direction to a local club where his son Fred was playing in a band that evening. I walked him to the club, and I was starstruck !!! I could hardly talk to him.

Now here is another one of my top favourites by Lightfoot. Again it shows his versitality in songwriting styles. Like "I'm Not Supposed To Care", had it been promoted properly and given a decent amount of airplay, I think it would have sold MILLIONS ! See the way he style can go from romantic ballad to soft rock ?
